Barry Charlton specialises in blue cheese. We affectionately refer to him as Australia’s ‘Master of Blue’ and many would agree. His purpose built factory in South Gippsland overlooks Wilson’s Prom and it’s there that Barry uses the milk from a few local dairy farms to handcraft his wheels of blue. The first of its kind made in Australia, and one of only a few made in the world, this buffalo milk blue cheese is something special. Cheese maker Barry Charlton of Berry’s Creek Gourmet Cheese collects fresh milk from Sunrise Plains Farm who milks a modest herd of just forty-one Riverine water buffalo. Barry uses a secret blend of cultures to develop complex savoury flavours and a buttery texture over the two month maturation period. Riverine Blue is made in limited quantities on a seasonal basis.

Delivery costs :  Free delivery for order above $150 within Sydney metro areas. Otherwise, $15 delivery fee will be charged. For out of area, the shipping cost is $15 for 1 carton up to 10kg and goes up by $2 for every additional 2kg. The carton cannot weigh more than 20kg
